Trevor maintains reserve status with the Army National Guard, where he continues his military service as a Master Sergeant with the 2nd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group Training Detachment. He has served in Afghanistan and South Sudan as a Green Beret and has earned many decorations, including the Bronze Star for Service and Army Commendation Medal for Valor.
As State Representative, Trevor has been a conservative voice on many issues, including tax reform, expanding educational opportunities, and limiting government growth. This past session he led the fight on protecting property rights. He serves as chairman of the House sub-committee on elections and is a member of Joint Performance Review, Judiciary, and the State Agencies and Governmental Affairs committees.
Trevor and his wife, the former Kara Cochran of Dover, and their two children, Ayden and Ella, reside in Dover. The Drown family are active members of Victory Missionary Baptist Church where Kara is involved with the Awana kids program. Trevor maintains active memberships with the American Legion, Dover Chamber of Commerce, Arkansas Cattleman’s Association, National Rifle Association, and the Special Operations Association.
